I just hadn't read the next chapter. I see that we do get that sex scene, with some details too. Adam has a big dick, almost too much we get to find out, but Olive can take it.

This chapter has lots to teach us about people. It also tells us everything we need to know about how Adam feels. We already were in Olive's head, so there's that.

There's much more to say on this chapter, but now we get to find out how their sex encounter affects the rest of the story line.

Now she has slept with Adam, and Tom could use it as some attack.

But the rest of what needs to be said will be handled elsewhere and perhaps refined enough for what's going on here.
