Here's a poem I wrote:
If I wanted someone, I'd want it to be you;
When I want someone, I won't be wanting you;
If we saw our way together,
And if we haven't worn the shoe,
Through the soles and through the socks,
Eliminating protection from rocks
Hurdles that will inevitably present in the path.
If the sky were my place to call home,
Free to flock, free to fly, free to soar,
I'd still be alone.
