I just want to bring you nuggets and five ranches. I been thinking 'bout it all day. But we don't say such things. Would rather do and act on such things when possible. Sometimes we don't have nugget delivery ability.
What do we say when our friend doesn't eat their nuggets? Do we say, "hey friend, why are you dumb and not eating?" Or could we say something a bit less accusatory, don't be mean, be nice, just do it, nike that shit... Perhaps, "Hey friend, what's wrong, I notice you haven't touched a bite of food, is there something you want to talk about?"
What might we say if our friend has made a mistake in a video game? I think an encouraging tone, for everyone, our friends, our partners, our colleagues, all of them. We can use this tone. (The "we" here refers to me and whoever else might follow this advice, and if that's zero people, we is just me.). When we decide to encourage and default to encouragement and move to things that are good, we can shift the lens, change the lens, paradigm, alter the view, snap out of or in to, we got this.
